Les Madeleines is happy to present several spring cooking classes. Owner and chef, Romina Rasmussen – Salt Lake Magazine’s 2007 Dining Award Winner, will teach the classes. Classes make a great gift or client apprecation event. Children over 12 are welcome to attend.
Saturday classes: 4:15pm – 6:30pm or 8 with dinner

Winter Cooking Class Schedule
Moroccan Dessert and Dinner –Saturday, January 23 – Beat January doldrums by learning to make some delicious exotic desserts from across the Middle East while enjoying a Moroccan dinner of tagine, lamb and house-made couscous.
The class with focus on Kanafeh, an almond pudding; Gazelle horns, an almond paste filled cookie and sesame cookies which will be enjoyed as they are and as a crust for a sesame cheesecake.
Dinner menu includes: pomegranate and pistachio crusted lamb and a chicken and dried fruit tagine, and all the desserts from the class. Sign up online!
Croissant and Danish – Saturday, February 6. Want to surprise your sweetie with fresh-baked croissant or Danish for Valentine’s day? Learn to make croissant so good it would make a Parisian blush! Rich, flavorful danish. A breakfast and brunch lover’s must! Sign up online!
Chocolate desserts and dinner – Saturday, February 13 – A chocolate lover's dream: chocolate mousse, chocolate truffles and our favorite chocolate cake - the Reine de Saba, a chocolate Amaretto cake. This will be a great way to celebrate Valentine's day a little early and is a fun alternative to dinner and a movie.

Asian and inspired desserts and dinner – Saturday, February 20 – Red beans in my dessert? Absolutely. We’ll make red bean crepes like they do in Shanghai, strawberry mochi and ginger pannacotta that’s inspired by one of the chef’s favorite Hong Kong desserts. We’ll also discuss ways to make some of your favorite desserts using Asian flavors and ingredients.
