Les Madeleines is happy to present several spring cooking classes. Owner and chef, Romina Rasmussen – Salt Lake Magazine’s 2007 Dining Award Winner, will teach the classes. Classes make a great gift or client apprecation event. Children over 12 are welcome to attend.

Saturday classes: 5:00pm – 7pm or 8:30 with dinner
Cost: $50 per adult student. Children 12-18 $35. Classes that include dinner $75

Winter Cooking Class Schedule

Chocolate desserts and dinner – Saturday, February 13 – A chocolate lover's dream: chocolate mousse, chocolate truffles and our favorite chocolate cake - the Reine de Saba, a chocolate Amaretto cake. This will be a great way to celebrate Valentine's day a little early and is a fun alternative to dinner and a movie.

Asian and inspired desserts and dinner – Saturday, February 20 – Red beans in my dessert? Absolutely.  We’ll make red bean crepes like they do in Shanghai, strawberry mochi and ginger pannacotta that’s inspired by one of the chef’s favorite Hong Kong desserts.  We’ll also discuss ways to make some of your favorite desserts using Asian flavors and ingredients. 

Dinner menu includes: spicy eggplant, roasted duck, stir-fried long beans and lemon chicken. Sign up online!

French Classics - Saturday, March 6. Tarte Tatin and Raspberry Charlotte are on the class schedule. We'll learn how to make puff pastry, a fruit Bavarian, caramelize apples and make lady fingers.
